The petitioner, being the secretary of a registered club, in the district of Purba Medinipur has belatedly approached this Court seeking direction upon the State respondents to allow the club to celebrate Durga Puja.

The Officer-in-Charge of the Egra Police Station, Purba Medinipur has forwarded the petitioner's application for obtaining permission to celebrate Durga Puja to the concerned Block Development Officer, but when the State Government Puja holidays have commenced on and from October 16, 2020, this Court is unable to entertain this writ petition.

W.P.A. 8545 of 2020 stands rejected.
