Mr. J. K. Mondal .... For the Private Respondent Mr. Abhiji Mukherjee .... For the WBSEDCL Pursuant to an earlier direction of Court a report is filed on behalf of the respondent statutory authority. It appears from the said report that the petitioner and the private respondent have agreed on the manner in which the electricity meter in the subject premises is to be shifted. The grievance of the petitioner pertains to shifting of the meter in terms of an application made by the petitioner to the respondent Distribution Company. In view of the report filed by the Distribution Company and the amicable manner in which the petitioner and the private respondents have agreed that the electricity meter be shifted, nothing survives in this writ petition.

W.P.A. 8574 of 2020 is disposed of by directing the respondent Distribution Company to shift the electricity meter in the subject premises in the manner as provided for in the report dated 19th February, 2021 filed by the respondent Distribution Company.

The aforesaid exercise is to be completed within a period of two weeks from date. The appropriate police authority being the respondent No. 4 is directed to give all necessary assistance to the representatives of the CESC upon payment of costs by the petitioner.
