The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference. The learned Counsel for the petitioner renews his prayer for bail. The said prayer is, however, opposed by the State. A Coordinate Bench by an order dated 15th September, 2020 after considering the materials on record and bearing in mind the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged murder declined to grant bail to the petitioner. We have also perused the statement of the witnesses under Section 161 of the Cr.P.C. directly implicating amongst others the petitioner. Since there has been no change in circumstances from the earlier order of rejection, there is no reason for us to revisit the issue. Under such circumstances, the application for bail being CRM 8118 of 2020 is rejected.

We, however, direct the authorities concerned to provide necessary medical assistance to the petitioner if required. We also direct the trial court to expedite the trial and conclude it as expeditiously as possible.
