It is submitted on behalf of the State that the Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Resource Development Department, Government of West Bengal, has already approved the proposal for releasing pending dues of the petitioner in terms of this Court's order.

A further period of 2 weeks is sought, to effect the actual release of payment of the petitioner.

Since funds are expected from the Financial Department, time to make payment to the petitioner is extended peremptorily by a period of 2 weeks from date, i.e. 23.12.2021.

Mr. Pratip Kumar Ghosh, the Additional Secretary, Animal Resource Development Department, Government of West Bengal, shall ensure the aforesaid order is complied with without default and demur.

The letter dated December 7, 2021 issued by Mr. Ghosh, is taken on record.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this judgment, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
