The petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within one week of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioners claim to be close relatives of the husband of the victim who suffered an unnatural death.

The State places the post-mortem report which reveals that the death was homicidal in nature. It appears that the husband is absconding and these petitioners were not available for a considerable period of time. In the light of the fate suffered by the

victim, the petitioners' prayer is declined though the petitioners will be entitled to seek bail once they surrender. CRM 8234 of 2020 is disposed of.
