The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within one week of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The charge against the petitioner is that he facilitated the marriage of a minor girl. Considering the menace that child marriage is, which still continues despite the laws being put in place, the petitioner must not be shown any latitude. The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

CRM 8236 of 2020 is disposed of.
