The advocate-on-record for the petitioners undertakes to affirm and properly stamp the petition as per the rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video-conference on the basis of such undertaking.

Mr. Chakraborty, the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is no way connected with the present case. He has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further contended that coaccused persons have already been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Hon'ble court. Therefore, the petitioner should be granted bail.

Mr. Sur, learned Advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and produces the case diary. He submits that even today one of the co-accused persons application for bail was rejected by a co-ordinate Bench of this Hon'ble court. He further submits that the petitioner's application for bail was rejected on 6th September, 2019 as well as 24th October, 2019. Considering the submission as advanced by the learned Advocate appearing for the parties and after going through the case diary, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.

CRM No.8280 of 2020 is disposed of.
