This is a contempt application alleging violation of the direction passed by the Court on 23rd July, 2019.

The Court directed the Managing Director of the North Bengal State Transport Corporation or the person holding the charge of the Managing Director of the said Corporation to consider the representation demanding justice made by the learned advocate on behalf of the petitioners.

The learned advocate representing the alleged contemnor submits copy of two orders dated 8th November 2021 passed in respect of both the petitioners by the Managing Director of the Corporation whereby the prayer of the petitioners for

allowing twenty year CAS benefit has been favourably allowed.

The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that no financial benefit has been credited to the petitioners' bank accounts till date.

As it appears that the contemnor has complied with the direction passed by the Court and considered the matter favourably in favour of the petitioners, accordingly the Managing Director shall take necessary consequential steps in the matter at the earliest.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

The orders dated 18th November, 2021 passed by the Managing Director are retained with the records.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
