The prayer of the petitioner for being appointed on compassionate ground was considered and rejected. The same has been communicated to the petitioner.

In view of the above, the contempt application stands disposed of.

It will be open for the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the contemnor rejecting his prayer, before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law, if so advised.

The reasoned order dated 25.03.2020 passed by the Additional Secretary, Government of West Bengal, Panchayats and Rural Development Department is retained with the records.
