Apprehending arrest in connection with Harishchandrapur P.S. Case No. 55 of 2020 dated 21.01.2020 (G.R.

284/2020) under Sections 341/326/324/323/308/34 of the Indian Penal Code, the present application has been preferred.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the investigation of the instant case has already been concluded resulting in six persons being chargesheeted. Out of the said six persons, who have been chargesheeted, two of the accused persons were arrested and subsequently released on bail.

In the aforesaid

circumstances, the learned advocate prays that the petitioners may be extended the benefit of anticipatory bail. The learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and draws the attention of this Court to the injury report as also the statement of the injured and other eyewitnesses.

We have perused the materials in the case diary. Having regard to the same, we direct the petitioners to surrender/appear before the jurisdictional court within a period of three weeks when the learned court would decide the application for bail of the present petitioners in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid, the petitioners shall not be arrested for a period of three weeks from date. With the aforesaid observations, the application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 8373 of 2020 is disposed of. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.) (Tapabrata Chakraborty, J.)
