And In Re : Biswajit Paul .... petitioner Ms. Madhusree Bhattacharya ....for the petitioner Md. Anowar Hossain Ms. Benajir Hasna ...... for the State Having considered the materials on record disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged possession of narcotic substance i.e. 26.2 kgs. of Ganja which is above commercial quantity and in view of statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the N.D.P.S. Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and to conclude the same at the earliest without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
