Admittedly, proceedings of pre-emption under the provisions of WBLR Act, filed by the petitioner against the private respondents are pending.

In the above circumstances, the Jiaganj Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
