Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

Having considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the alleged possession of narcotic substance i.e. 22.500 kgs. of ganja above commercial quantity and as his prayer for bail was rejected earlier and the trial is in progress, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
