The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.
The petitioners claim that a land dispute between the two groups led to some degree of violence but no serious injury was suffered on either side.
The State refers to one of the injury reports which indicates that a person received a head injury and required stitches on his scalp.
Considering the nature of the incident and the extent of the injuries, there may not be any need to take the petitioners into custody as long as they cooperate with the investigation. Subject to the above, in the event of arrest, the petitioners will be enlarged on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) each, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the
arresting officer. The petitioners will also comply with the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code and not attempt to make any contact with the victim till the conclusion of the trial.
CRM 8517 of 2020 is disposed of.
