The advocate-on-record for the petitioner undertakes to affirm and properly stamp the petition as per the rules within forty-eight hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video-conference on the basis of such undertaking. The date of occurrence was 9th March, 2018. Charge was framed by the court below on 8th August, 2018. It is stated that the prosecution has examined five witnesses out of seventeen witnesses. The learned judge of the court below is directed to fix the next date of trial preponing the next date of trial fixed on March 3, 2021 and conclude the same by 30th April, 2020.

This application for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM 8522 of 2020 is, thus, disposed of.
