The grievance of the writ petitioners is that the Dholmari Branch of the Indian Bank is proposed to be shifted from one premises to another.

We have heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned Counsel for the Bank respondents. We do not see that this is a case where the Court should interfere. It is a policy decision of the Bank management to shift the particular branch from one place to another which is next door, we are told. We do not see how the writ petitioners will be prejudiced or any section of the public will be inconvenienced if the said branch is shifted. We decline to interfere.

WPA 8968 of 2020 is dismissed without, however, any order as to costs.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
