Ms. Sujata Das ... for the State The present revision of the year 2020 has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of the proceedings under Section 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act arising out of Haridevpur P.S. Case No. 537 of 2017 corresponding to ACGR No. 4915 of 2017, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas. Learned counsel for the State is present.

Considering the nature of the case, the revisional application is disposed of with the direction to the Trial Court to dispose of the proceedings in the present case within a period of six months, if not already disposed of. All connected application, if any, stands disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Let a copy of the order be sent to the learned trial court for compliance.
