This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein petitioners allege illegal construction being carried out by the respondents. It is to be noted that in W.P.17957(W) of 2019 an order had been passed in the month of September 2019 wherein certain directions had been given upon the local police to ensure that no further construction occurs at the impugned premises.

The petitioners have now filed a new writ petition with regard to further construction being carried out. In my view, this writ petition leads to multiplicity of proceedings and is required to be dismissed. In light of the same, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty given to the petitioners to file another urgent application in W.P. No. 17957 (W) of 2019 and/or file a contempt application, if so advised. With the above direction, this writ petition is dismissed.
