Mr. Krishna Das Poddar ...for the petitioner This is an application for expeditious disposal of Title Suit No.474 of 2015 pending before the learned VIth Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta.

It is the contention of the petitioner that the suit had proceeded to a considerable extent and evidence of the petitioner/plaintiff was over. Thereafter, the opposite parties filed an application for appointment of a handwriting expert at the time of their examination. The said application was rejected by the learned court below. This court directed a hand-writing expert to be appointed. Now, the report of the hand-writing expert has arrived. The petitioner prays that because the civil courts have started functioning regularly, directions may be passed for expeditious disposal of the title suit, in view of the age of the suit which is at the stage of evidence.

Without going into the merits of the claims of the petitioner and/or the contentions of the parties, this civil revisional application is disposed of with a request to the learned civil judge of the court below to dispose of Title Suit No.474 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six months from date, considering the stage of the suit and also the age of the petitioner.
