Advocate ... ... for the State Considering the previous rejection of the petitioner's prayers, the present request cannot be acceded to. The charges are grave and the petitioner's involvement appears to be more than likely. The trial is at an advanced stage and it is the pandemic which has prevented the conclusion thereof.

According to the State, only the Investigating Officer's testimony has to be recorded. It is hoped that the situation would improve for the trial in this matter to be completed by April, 2021. Considering the material against the petitioner and the previous orders of this court, the prayer for bail cannot be acceded to at this moment.

CRM 8604 of 2020 is disposed of.
