The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within one week of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioner states that the petitioner is no way connected with the charges levelled against her.

The State produces the case diary. It appears from the clear statement of the survivor made under Section 164 of the Code that the petitioner is named and it was the petitioner who was involved in trafficking the survivor.

In such circumstances, no latitude should be shown to the petitioner and as such the prayer for bail stands rejected.

CRM 8617 of 2020 is disposed of.
