For the respondent no.8 This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved for non-consideration of his representation dated September 9, 2020.

I have heard learned Counsel for the petitioner as also for the private respondent.

In my view, this matter can be disposed of with a direction upon the Assistant Engineer, Borough No.1, the Howrah Municipal Corporation, being the respondent no.7 to grant an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned and pass a reasoned order within a period of five weeks from the date of communication of this order. The reasoned order should be communicated to the parties two weeks from the date of passing of such reasoned order.

With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
