The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioners claim that since the chargesheet has been submitted, no useful purpose would be served in detaining the petitioners any further.

The State refers to the statement of the son of the victim. In the relevant statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the minor son of the deceased victim claimed that he saw the petitioners beating his mother. However, such boy claimed in his statement under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure that several persons set his mother on fire, including the petitioners herein. In the light of such material against the petitioners, the

prayer for anticipatory bail is declined.

CRM 8669 of 2020 is disposed of.
