Having considered the materials on record disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner in assaulting the victim along with other co-accused persons, one of whose application for bail was rejected by a coordinate bench of this court, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
