It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he renews his prayer for bail. He is in custody for 11 months. It is contended coaccused, Shreya Mondal has been enlarged on bail by a co-ordinate bench of this Court.

Learned lawyer for the State submits that petitioner is the wife of the principal accused and does not stand on the same footing with coaccused Shreya Mondal who has been enlarged on bail. Having considered the materials on record we note that the relationship between the petitioner and the principal accused was the prime reason for rejection of her bail by this Court which gives prima facie credence to her role in allegation in trafficking of narcotic substance alongwith the principal accused. She does not stand on the

same footing with Shreya Mondal who has been enlarged on bail. Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same without granting unnecessary adjournments.

The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
