The petitioner says that the petitioner's prayer was rejected a year back and there has been no progress in the trial for a considerable period.

In view of the pandemic and the inability of the courts to take up trials for the last several months, the prayer does not appear to be justified. There is no doubt that the trial will be taken up within reasonable time of normal court functioning resuming. The prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. CRM 8769 of 2020 is disposed of.
