The petitioner claims that the petitioner has been roped in merely because some charges have been brought against the petitioner's son.

Considering the material against the petitioner and the tenuous nature of the charges, the further detention of the petitioner may not be necessary. The petitioner will be enlarged on bail on furnishing security of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties of like amount, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the appropriate Court in Dakshin Dinajpur. The petitioner should report to the investigating officer as and when called, till the investigation is completed.
