The petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking. The petitioners say that a family dispute led to some violence, but the petitioners remain arrested for more than 50 days upon exaggerated charges being levelled. The State produces the case diary including the medical report.

Considering the nature of the incident and the extent of the injuries suffered, the further detention of the petitioners is considered to be unnecessary.

The petitioners will be enlarged on bail on furnishing security of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) each with

two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the appropriate Court in Nadia. CRM 8786 of 2020 is disposed of.
