The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioners are close relatives of the husband of the deceased victim. The petitioners say that the husband has been arrested.

The State says that the statements of the persons who attempted to rescue the victim upon hearing her cries referred to the victim having said that the three petitioners herein held her while the victim's husband poured kerosene over her and set her ablaze.

In view of such material against the petitioners, their prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. CRM 8785 of 2020 is disposed of.
