And In Re : Salim Sk. @ Solimuddin Saikh & Anr. ...... petitioners Mr. Jisan Iqubal Hossain .....for the petitioners. Ms. Zareen N. Khan Mr. Mirza Firoj Ahmed Beg ....for the State Petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. Learned advocate for the petitioners submit that the petitioners are innocent of the charges and there are no way connected with the alleged offence. He further submits that a similarly placed person has been granted anticipatory bail in this case.

Learned advocate for the State submits the Case Diary and draws the attention of this Court to the injury report as well as the statement of witnesses.

We have taken into account the statement of witnesses as well as the injury report and are of the opinion that the petitioners are thickly connected with the alleged offence and as such they are not entitled to the benefit of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory is rejected.
