In the matter of : Manish Gupta ..... petitioner Mr. Santanu Maji ....For the petitioner Mr. Sudip Ghosh Mr. Apurba Kumar Datta .....For the State The petitioner says that the petitioner has been associated with the alleged survivor and a misunderstanding has led to the complaint being filed.

The State says that the survivor is a minor. However, the statement of the survivor is that she has been associated with the petitioner for a considerable period of time. Considering the circumstances, the further detention of the petitioner may not be necessary. However, the petitioner should not contact the survivor till the completion of the trial. Subject to the above, the petitioner will be enlarged on bail on furnishing security of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the appropriate court in South 24Parganas. CRM 8794 of 2020 is disposed of.
