Case No. 292 of 2015 dated December 23, 2015 under sections 302/34 IPC read with section 25(i)/27/35 Arms Act. Mr. Busra Khatoon ...for the petitioner Mr. Madhusudan Sur ... for the State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video-conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The only ground urged by the petitioner is the delay in commencing the trial, despite a previous order of this court dated December 24, 2019.

Considering that no criminal trial has been taken up for last eight months or so in view of the pandemic, the grievance appears to be unjustified. Since there is no change in the circumstances after the rejection of the petitioner's previous prayer, the present request cannot be acceded to.

CRM No.8843 of 2020 is disposed of.
