The petitioner has challenged the alleged inaction of the police-authorities in investigating on a complaint lodged by the petitioner regarding alleged assault by the private respondents.

Learned senior counsel appearing for the respondent-authorities submits that there is no scope left for such grievance since investigation has been completed by the Tangra Police Station, culminating in filing of a charge sheet, bearing CS. No. 127/2020 under Sections 241/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code. In such view of the matter, the writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, W.P.A. No. 9220 of 2020 is disposed of by granting the petitioner liberty to approach the appropriate magistrate in the event the petitioner has any grievance with the clubbing of sections in the matter.

There will be no order as to costs.
