Mr. Santanu Deb Roy ..for the State Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than 125 days.

Learned advocate further submits that as the charge-sheet has already been submitted, further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted.

Learned advocate for the State draws the attention to the statement of the victim, eye witnesses under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. as also the Post Mortem report.

We have perused the materials particularly the corroboration which is appearing from the statement of the witnesses and the Post Mortem report.

Having regard to the stage of the case and the complicity of the present petitioner, we are of the opinion that the present petitioner has failed to make out any case for being released on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. C.R.M.8851 of 2020 is disposed of.
