Records reveal that on 17th December, 2020 an interim order was passed in CRM No.8917 of 2020 directing that the petitioner shall not be arrested in connection with this case for a period of three weeks after vacation or until further orders whichever is earlier.

As the said interim order has already been expired, an application for extension of the same being CRAN 1 of 2021 has been filed. Upon hearing Mr. Ahmed, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the State the interim order passed earlier is extended till 24th February, 2021 or until further orders whichever is earlier. However, in the meantime, the petitioner is directed to meet with the investigating officer once a week on and from 4th February, 2021 and the investigating officer would be at liberty to interrogate the petitioner and to file a report to that effect before this Court on the returnable date.

List this matter for further consideration in the daily supplementary list of this Court on 22nd February, 2021.
