Rajkumar Jadav v. State Of West Bengal
01.12.2020.
as (Rejected) C.R.M. 8926 of 2020 (Via Video Conference) In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Purulia Muffasil P.S. Case No.195 of 2020 dated 19.09.2020 under Sections 420/406/407/120B of the Indian Penal Code.
In the matter of : Rajkumar Jadav.
... Petitioner.
Mr. Abhra Mukherjee, Mr. Sauradeep Dutta.
...for the Petitioner.
Mr. Swapan Banerjee, Mr. Suman De.
.....for the State.
Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Having considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner as a conspirator in theft of goods belonging to the electric company which is yet to be recovered, we are of the opinion that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary and this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
