In view of the pandemic, notwithstanding a previous direction of this Court for the expeditious completion of the trial, it is understandable that the trial has remained suspended for the last eight months or so.

However, since only the inspector-in-charge of the concerned police station has to be examined, let the evidence be concluded within three months of normal functioning of Court resuming after the lockdown is lifted.

The prayer for bail is rejected at this stage and CRM 8947 of 2020 is disposed of.
