Petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition as per Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of Court. Petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.
Ms. Jeenia Rudra, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioners. Mr. Sanjoy Bardhan appears on behalf of State and submits that a quantity of codeine mixture above commercial quantity was recovered from possession of petitioners. He opposes prayer for bail.
On query from Court, no changed circumstance or any material for us to find reasonable ground for believing that petitioners are not guilty of offence alleged, has been shown. As such, we are not inclined to grant bail to petitioners.
In view of above, application for bail is rejected. CRM 9025 of 2020 is accordingly disposed of.
