Panda, Ms. Puspita Saha ...for the State This is an application of the petitioner for being released in connection with A.J.C. Bose B Garden P.S. Case no.76 of 2016 dated 20.07.2016 under Section 20(b)(ii)(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985.

In view of the bar under Section 37 of the N.D.P.S. Act the prayer for bail is considered and rejected.

However, as prayed on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner the learned Special Judge shall expedite the trial as expeditiously as possible bearing in mind the guidelines as laid

down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Thana Singh -vs.- Central Bureau of Narcotics (2003) 2 SCC 603.

C.R.M.9030 of 2020 is disposed of.
