... Petitioners Mr. Tanmay Chowdhury .. for the petitioners Mr. Imran Ali, Ms. Manasi Roy ..for the State Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no.1 is the father-in-law and petitioner no.2 is the mother-in-law of the deceased/victim.
Learned advocate for the petitioner further submits that the petitioners are in custody for about 74 days and the husband of the deceased has also been taken into custody and is he still in jail.
Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. However, he is unable to describe regarding the special features of the overt acts of the present petitioners.
We have taken into account the materials against the present petitioners as also their complicity and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case we are of the opinion that petitioners should be released on bail. Accordingly, prayer for bail is allowed.
The petitioners be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Learned A.C.J.M, Arambagh and on condition that they shall not tamper with evidence and/or intimidate the witnesses.
While on bail the petitioners shall meet with the Investigating Officer of the case as and when called for.
With these observations, CRM 9061 of 2020 is disposed of. Learned appropriate Trial Court as well as all concerned authorities shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
