Petitioner Mr. Sumanta Das ...for the petitioner Ms. Faria Hossain, Ms. Baisali Basu ...for the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is 62 years old and his in custody for last 607 days. Charge sheet has already been submitted. The petitioner is wanted in connection with a case which relates to an offence under Section 376AB of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012. Bearing in mind the materials placed on the Case Diary and upon hearing the learned counsel for the State as well as the petitioner there is allegation emerging from the injury report and

statement of the victim. Therefore, prayer for bail is considered and rejected.

Since the charge sheet has been submitted the Special Judge, POCSO shall take all endeavour for expeditious disposal of the case.

C.R.M.9067 is disposed of.
