Mr. Imran Ali Ms. Manasi Roy ...for the State. The advocate-on-record for the petitioner undertakes to affirm and properly stamp the petition as per the rules within fortyeight hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video-conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The alleged incident took place on 27th February, 2020. The case is under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there is no physical injury.

Considering all these factors we do not think that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required. This application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

In the event of arrest, the petitioner will be released on bail upon furnishing security of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) together with personal release bond of equivalent value to the

satisfaction of the arresting officer.

The petitioner shall also comply with the conditions laid down in section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. CRM 9085 of 2020 is, thus, disposed of.
