Mr. P. P. Das Ms. Manasi Roy ...... for the State Having considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the alleged possession of narcotic substance i.e 34 bottles of Phensedyl syrup which is above commercial quantity and in view of statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the N.D.P.S. Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
