Khan Ms. Ratna Ghosh ... ... for the State Mr. Bitasok Banerjee ... .. for the de facto complainant It is submitted that victim is a major lady and had cohabited out of her own volition. It is further submitted that petitioner and the victim propose to marry each other. In view of the aforesaid development and the nature of allegations, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, allowed.
