This revisional application has been filed for a direction upon the Central Government Industrial Tribunal, Kolkata to dispose the Appeal No. EPF 1 of 2014 expeditiously.

It is the contention of the petitioner, who is the appellant before the learned tribunal, that the learned Presiding Officer has been otherwise busy and could not take up the appeal for hearing on the dates fixed.

It appears from the records that the arguments have commenced and the appellant has been partially heard. The arguments commenced on June 19, 2019 and, thereafter, the proceedings were stalled for one reason or the other.

Under such circumstances, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned tribunal to dispose of the Appeal No. EPF-1 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible, preferably

within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

It is made clear that this court has not gone into the merits of the claims of the appellant and the learned tribunal will proceed independently and in accordance with law.

Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application along with the server copy of this order upon the opposite party.

The revisional application is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible subject to compliance of all usual formalities.
