Heard the respondent nos. 3 and 4.

The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the non-supply of information relating to recruitment for the post of Sub-Inspector of Subordinate Food & Supplies Service, Grade - III, under Food and Supply, Government of West Bengal, 2018.

It is submitted on behalf of the respondent nos. 3 and 4 that under the provisions of the Administrative Tribunal Act, the petitioner has an alternative, efficacious statutory remedy and the writ petition is not maintainable.

I have heard the parties.

In view of the alternative, efficacious and statutory remedy available to the petitioner and in the

absence of any exceptional grounds warranting interference by the Writ Court, WPA 9429 of 2020 is dismissed.

The petitioner is granted liberty to approach the available statutory forum in accordance with law. With the aforesaid directions, WPA 9424 of 2020 is dismissed. However, there will be no order as to costs.
