Mr. Himangshu Ghosh ....For the petitioners Mr. Swapan Kr. Dutta Mr. Tapas Kumar Dey .... For the Respondents From prayer (a) of the writ application it is found that the writ petition has been filed for withdrawing and /or cancelling some show-cause notices dated 15.07.2019 and 17.03.2020.

It is not understood how simple show-cause notices issued by an authority can give a cause of action to a person as it is established that the showcause notice does not give any cause of action in favour of the person to whom the notice has been issued. In this view of the matter, the writ application does not have merit. However, the petitioners, if so desire, can reply to the show-cause notice of the authority which had issued such notices within a period of two weeks from date.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of .
