Having considered the materials on record disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner as a conspirator to the murder of a former member of the legislative assembly and as trial is in progress and in view of the gravity of the offence and as there is possibility of witnesses being won over, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
