A report has been filed in the form of instructions addressed to the State Advocate that enquiries were duly made on the petitioner's complaint and it was found that the dispute is purely civil, having no element of criminality at all.

The petitioner may pursue appropriate civil remedy in this regard.

The personal appearance of the Officer-incharge, Hare Street Police Station is dispensed with. With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
