Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

Petitioners were identified in the course of test identification parade.

In view of the aforesaid fact and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

However, in view of the protracted period of detention suffered by the petitioner, we direct the Trial Court to conclude the trial within one year from the next date fixed before it without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
